Año Uña - Cuarón's film of stills

26th November 2008

Jonas Cuarón, with his father Alfonso Cuarón as executive producer, has written and directed a film edited entirely from photographic stills.

Jonás Cuarón took photographs over the course of a year, recording spontaneous images of people going about their everyday lives. At this point there was no plot as Cuarón intended for characters, themes and stories to emerge during the year - and remarkably they did. The result is an intimate and honest tale of love and obsession, focusing on the impossible romance between Molly, a 21-year-old American, and 14 year old Diego, a Mexican in the throes of puberty.

We're looking forward to seeing the end product when the film is released on 28th November. You can view a trailer at the link below.
