Film Description
Shintaro Katsu's final appearance - his twenty-sixth - as the famed blind swordsman Zatoichi, with whose name he is synonymous. The blind and now ageing masseur Ichi is still wandering the backroads of 1860s Japan, pursued by bounty hunting yakuza. Katsu also co-wrote and directed the film, which is shot in natural lighting with beautifully choreographed sword fights.
