Film Description

From 1971 to 1980, millions watched the drama and spectacle of The Onedin Line, the BBC's lavishly-filmed television series following the trials and triumphs, loves and betrayals, adventures and disasters of James, his family and others in the Onedin Line fleet and boardroom.

This set contains all 13 episodes from the third series of the classic series of 19th-century love and passion on the high seas. In this series, the recently widowed James Onedin (Peter Gilmore) keeps himself occupied with work, and finds himself dealing with many problems, including court cases, striking miners, new trade routes, seed-smuggling and mutiny.
