Film Description
Billy Wilder's gender-bending comedy, Some Like It Hot blends madcap capers with some of the sharpest dialogue this side of a stiletto.
Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon play two musicians on the run from the mob in February 1929 after witnessing the St Valentine's Day Massacre. To elude them they get into drag and join Sweet Sue's all-girl band on the next train to Florida. Joe falls for band's sugar Sugar Kane (a pneumatically alluring Marilyn Monroe), while Jerry finds himself pursued enthusiastically by lecherous millionaire Osgood Fielding III. Comic complications a-plenty ensue in one of the greatest of all film comedies.
