Film Description
An early film from British director Lewis Gilbert (Alfie, Reach for the Sky, Moonraker, Shirley Valentine...), crime drama Scarlet Thread stars Laurence Harvey as a small time crook looking for the high life and Sydney Tafler as an educated gang boss living the high life - both take part in a robbery that goes wrong.
A supporting cast includes Kathleen Bryon (as a Don's frustrated girlfriend), Harry Fowler and Dora Bryan, and the film is also notable for its location shots of Cambridge and London's West End.
