Film Description
All nine half-hour episodes of Palin & Jones' excellent TV series of extended parodies on 'Boy's Own'-type adventure stories. Features Tomkinson's Schooldays, Escape From Stalag Luft 112B, Golden Gordon, Roger of the Raj, Whinfrey's Last Case, Across the Andes by Frog, The Curse of the Claw, Murder at Moorstones Manor, and of course the one everyone remembers, The Testing of Roger Olthwaite.
An illustrious supporting cast includes John Le Mesurier, Iain Cuthbertson, Denholm Elliott, Joan Sanderson and Don Henderson, with Terry Jones starring in one episode and fellow former Python John Cleese also making a cameo appearance; the series was produced and directed by the multi award-winning team of Terry Hughes (The Two Ronnies), Jim Franklin (The Goodies) and Alan J.W. Bell (The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy).
