Film Description
A comedy set on Tyneside, Purely Belter sees footie fans Sewell (Greg McLane) and Gerry (Chris Beattie) dream of getting season tickets for Newcastle United, but with the former unemployed and the latter playing truant from school they are unlikely to be able to stump up the £1000 required. The friends try forswearing drink and drugs in an attempt to save the cash - only to have their funds stolen by Gerry's violent father. The pair's attempts to raise the money become increasingly desperate, but could a solution be on hand from an unexpected source?
