Film Description
Love knows no boundaries for two social misfits in this Korean drama from director Lee Chang-Dong. Released from prison on manslaughter charges, Jong-Do visits the home of his victim, only to be turned away. Before he leaves, however, he sees a young woman, Gong-Ju, disabled by cerebral palsy. Over time, a relationship develops between the two, as Jong-Do helps Gong-Ju to lead as normal a life as possible, hindered at every turn by their respective families.
