Film Description

Based on Ray Cooney's record-breaking stage farce, camp comedy caper Not Now Darling follows the misadventures of insatiable womaniser Gilbert Bodley (Leslie Phillips), the boss of an exclusive West End fur salon. In order to give his mistress (Julie Ege) an expensive mink coat without upsetting her jealous husband, Gilbert agrees to sell it to her cheap. However, instead of doing his own dirty work, he gets his reluctant partner, Arnold Crouch (Ray Cooney), to do it for him. Things go awry when the mobster plans to buy it for his own mistress and soon the whole plan goes flying out the window.
