Film Description

Double bill of crime dramas from 1959, Life in Danger and Cover Girl Killer, directed by Terry Bishop.

'Life in Danger' sees an escaped prisoner befriend a young girl who is planning to runaway. Meanwhile, the residents of the small town continue to live in fear of the convicts at Parkways institution, and the police search for the fugitive and the missing girl.

Cover Girl Killer is set in the sleazy world of a backstreet 50s nightclub as the police search for a serial killer who has been murdering cover girls of 'Wow!' magazine and making them look exactly as they did when they appeared on the front page. Harry H Corbett plays a mysterious TV producer, Victor Brooks the Inspector who is put on the case.
