Film Description

An offbeat comedy, Gentlemen Broncos was written and directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite).

Michael Angarano plays geeky loner Benjamin, who is home-schooled by his eccentric mother (Jennifer Coolidge). An aspiring science fiction writer, Benjamin takes his first novella, 'Yeast Lords: The Bronco Years', along to a sci-fi convention where he presents it to his favourite author, once-successful fantasy novelist Ronald Chevalier (Jemaine Clement) - who promptly steals the work and passes it off as his own. Worse still, it is then adapted into a disastrous movie by the small town's most prolific homespun filmmaker. Sam Rockwell co-stars.
