Film Description
The Christmas episode of the ITV costume drama. It's 1919, and preparations for a lavish Christmas party at Downton Abbey are under way. The general atmosphere, however, is tense, as Bates's arrest threatens to mar proceedings. Meanwhile, Mary is forced to reconsider her future with Sir Richard Carlisle after an incident at the shooting party, while Cora, Countess of Grantham (Elizabeth McGovern), makes a shocking discovery.
