Film Description

A Slovenian drama which sees a young girl (Nina Ivanisin) escaping the claustrophobia of small town life by moving to the capital, Ljubljana. As it's the year in which Slovenia holds the presidency of the European Union, she sets herself up as a call girl, believing that she will make a lot of money from visiting diplomats. But her isolated existence - English student by day, call girl by night - is shattered when one of her clients, a politician, dies of a heart attack. Suddenly she finds herself pursued by the tabloid press, pimps and the police, and it looks like the village she escaped might offer refuge.
