Film Description
100 Rifles is a spaghetti-influenced Western, in which an Arizona deputy and a half-breed bank robber get involved with Mexican rebels fighting a genocidal general. Briskly directed and rousingly scored by Jerry Goldsmith, this uncompromising picture combines combustible action with some intriguingly mixed messages on race and gender. Look out too for a rare appearance in an American film from Jess Franco's erstwhile muse, Soledad Miranda.
