Those were the first words that echoed when The Twilight Zone first aired in 1959. Its episodes featured stories of the bizarre and unexplained, blended with humour and often with an unexpected twist to the tale. Created by the legendary Rod Serling, its eclectic mix of fantasy and sci-fi has helped to define it as one of television’s most original and celebrated series.
In this third series, a group of neighbours fight each other over the use of a single bomb shelter in the face of an alien invasion, a young boy has the power to read minds and control thoughts in a small town, and when a man falls into a lake on a hunting trip, he finds that no one can hear or see him anymore. It also features some great film and television actors including Robert Redford (Nothing In The Dark), Charles Bronson (Two), Peter Falk (The Mirror), Lee Marvin (The Grave), Donald Pleasance (The Changing of the Guard) and the legendary Buster Keaton (Once Upon A Time).
