Film Description
A brutal, action-packed cop thriller co-written by James Ellroy, Rampart tells the story of a corrupt cop (Woody Harrelson) whose destructive streak wreaks havoc in both his personal and professional life.
Veteran police officer Dave 'Date Rape' Brown is the last of the renegade cops in the Los Angeles Police Department, dedicated to doing 'the people's dirty work' and asserting his own code of very rough justice. However, when he gets caught on tape beating a suspect, he finds himself in a downward spiral as he struggles to take care of his family, and fight for his own survival.
