Film Description
Four loners pursue their various dreams in a seemingly endless Hong Kong night in Wong Kar-Wai's Fallen Angels. It's almost a dark sequel to Chungking Express but is a far more fractured and complex film that takes a number of rewarding visual risks. The material is also darker - the four main characters are loners, incapable of feeling real warmth and friendship as they pursue their various dreams in a seemingly endless Hong Kong night. With its very cool soundtrack, this violent, funny movie just oozes style.
