Film Description
A double-bill of Spanish dance works by renowned choreograper Antonio Gades, filmed at Madrid's Teatro Real in 2011 to mark the 75th anniversary of his birth. 'Bodas de Sangre' is a flamenco ballet version of Lorca's tragedy of outraged honour and revenge, Blood Wedding, featuring Cristina Carnero, Angel Gil and Vanesa Vento among others. 'Suite Flamenca' comprises seven pieces of traditional flamenco dance performed by Stella Arauzo, Miguel Lara, and members of the cast of Compania Antonio Gades.
