Film Description
This last movie that Jean Gabin and Arletty made together for Marcel Carné was made on location in 1950s Paris and is blessed with highly evocative cinematography. It tells the story of ex-boxer, now an ageing coach (Gabin), who tries to turn a poor young boy into a champion. However, his wife is none too pleased to being hanging around in Paris while her husband devotes his time to the young lad.
