Film Description
The Pang Brothers remake their original 1999 action thriller. Nicolas Cage plays Joe, a hitman who has recently arrived in Bangkok to kill four enemies of a cold-blooded crime boss named Surat. Joe hires a local pickpocket named Kong as a go-between, with the intention of killing him once the assignment is over. However, after Kong provides Joe with valuable information about one of his targets, Joe decides to train the young man instead. As Joe's Bangkok assignment becomes more and more dangerous, he becomes involved in a relationship with a local deaf-mute girl.
