Film Description

Essentially a two-hander play transposed by ex-Z Cars writer John Hopkins to the screen and given a comparitively realistic police setting. Sean Connery is the policeman who has seen too much dying and misery on the force in the past twenty years. Ian Bannen is the prisoner suspected of being a child molester. In the strange, claustrophic atmosphere of the interrogation room, Connery's cop, obsessively convinced of Bannen's guilt, finds himself subtly changing places as notions of truth, good and evil are challenged.
