A four-film set of movies starring Al Pacino - Scarface (1983), Sea of Love (1989), Scent of a Woman (1992) and Carlito's Way (1993).
In 'Scarface' - the remake of the 1932 Howard Hawks classic, Pacino stars as up-and-coming gangster Tony Montana, who arrives in Miami as a Cuban refugee. With his friend Manny, Tony carries out a hit on a politician, earning him the gratitude of drug dealer Frank Lopez (Robert Loggia) and allowing him to rise rapidly in the 'organization'.
In 'Carlito's Way' Carlito (Pacino) is a Hispanic drugs boss just released from prison. Determined to go straight and move to the Bahamas with his girlfriend, Carlito is tempted back to the wrong side of the law by his lawyer, nerdish coke-head David Kleinfeld (Sean Penn), for 'one last job'.
In 'Sea of Love' New York cop Frank Keller (Pacino) must trap a serial killer who is using dating ads to snare his victims. He and a fellow cop place their own ads and start working through suspects.
'Scent of a Woman' sees hard-up student Charlie Simms (Chris O'Donnell) doing a job over Thanksgiving weekend to earn some much-needed cash. He must escort blind, embittered ex-army Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade (Pacino) as he indulges in the good life in New York city. Slade plans to eat, drink, make merry and womanise but, unbeknownst to Charlie, Slade is also intent on blowing his own brains out at the end of the excursion.
