Film Description
Based on the true story of how St. George's school in West London was saved from closure following the murder of headmaster Philip Lawrence at the school gates five years earlier. Julie Walters is head Marie Stubbs as she tries to turn a school round where teachers are too fearful to leave the staff room at breaktime and fighting, truancy and stealing are rife.
