Film Description
An extremely popular drama, with Ingrid Bergman's missionary leading a hundred children in her charge on an epic journey to safety over the mountains of pre-WWII China. Robert Donat plays a Chinese mandarin. Notable for some lovely scenery, it was actually filmed around Beddgelert in Snowdonia in an Oscar-worthy performance by the landscape.
