Five directors and an all-star cast spoof the James Bond films in this camp comedy classic, very loosely based on Ian Fleming's first Bond novel, Casino Royale.
Sir James Bond (David Niven) is about to retire, but is called into battle with the evil organisation S.M.E.R.S.H. after the assassination of 'M' (John Huston). To protect his real identity, Bond's name is given to numerous other agents, including Evelyn Tremble (Peter Sellers), Vesper Lynd (Ursula Andress) and even Bond's neurotic nephew, Jimmy (Woody Allen).
With girls and gadgets, numerous Hollywood stars, including Charles Boyer, Peter O'Toole, Jacqueline Bisset and Orson Welles, a frisky script and a score by Burt Bacharach, this is a purely enbjoyable Bond parody.
