Contemporary Family Films
Despite the moans of the naysayers, contemporary family films have rarely been stronger. While the Harry Potter films pull in the happy masses at the cinemas and on DVD, critical successes from Aardman Studios and Pixar hold up favourably against the best children’s movies ever made. Toy Story is a clear example of classic filmmaking that could only be made using cutting-edge technology.
