Crime - Film Noir
The Film Noir movement has produced some of our most iconic cinematic images. Often morally ambiguous and sexually motivated, these absorbing tales of the dark and sleazy world of crime are set against murky city backdrops. The stripped down and angular films of Fritz Lang and Otto Preminger epitomise the genre. For a more recent take, Rian Johnson's Brick is sublimely sinister.
