Comedy

Comedy is (probably) the most universally popular form of movie. Everyone likes a laugh and there is a comedy DVD for every sense of humour, ranging from the effortless slapstick of Laurel and Hardy or Charlie Chaplin, the sophisticated wit of Ernst Lubitsch, through to the gleeful anarchy of the Marx brothers or the engaging smut of Judd Apatow. This is pleasure at its purest.
